We waited for the latest weather information, and based on that are cancelling Freshman and JV2 practices at Dresden today. Lovely fields, but they turn into swamps with extended rain. Plus, 58 degrees and many players battling the HHS Cold.
The JV1 and Varsity games at HHS will be played as scheduled at 4:30. Players should prepare for the rain. The locker rooms will be available before and after the game. Bring garbage bags for your gear. If you bring a popup tent for the bench area, we must also provide at least one for the opposing bench. Thanks to parents if you can manage to do this.
Tomorrow's forecast is a different animal all together. It will be 15 degree warmer, the rain is coming later, but it may come in the form of thunderstorms. Stay tuned.
Stay tuned also for Coach Erik McEwen's account of yesterday's JV2 victory over Lebanon. Several veteran players scored their first-ever goals in school competition.
