Team Communication Policies Defined

As we continue to grow into the season, it makes sense to describe and discuss soccer program policies for players and coaches which we have not yet had the opportunity to enumerate. We live in an age of social media saturation, and it is a specific guideline for all Hanover players on all teams to not communicate with players on other teams during the season.  Which might seem like light-hearted banter to some may be considered provocative or insulting by others.  It is also quite possible for students to send messages that quite clearly inappropriate.  It's a short season.  If you have friends on other teams, you can wait the remaining 5-6 weeks to be in touch.  But there is to be no messaging on any platform with players on other teams.  We have had several instances of communications with players on other teams that has been counterproductive  (more than one, and both recently and several weeks ago), and this must stop. Failure to comply with this policy will result in appropriate consequences.  Let's focus on our teams, our classmates, our school.
